BIENVENIDA DINNER/MEETING AT SOMETHING FISHY
The San Beda High School Class 1959 reunion got started with a gathering at a restaurant called "Something Fishy" located in Eastwood, Libis, QC, hosted by Lito Balquiedra. I approached the restaurant with trepidation since I was not sure I would remember any of my old classmates' faces but everyone was so nice and pleasant. It felt like we just picked up where we left off 50 years ago.

JANUARY 26-27
SUBIC BAY OUTING
The group met at a Shell Station in Green Hills and then picked up some delicious mushroom burgers from one of Albert Dy's stores before driving in two vans to Subic Bay, Zambales for a two-day outing. On the way back, we stopped in San Fernando, Pampanga to meet Pampanga's governor Panlilio.

GAUDETE IN DOMINO! CONCERT & AWARDING OF ST. BENEDICT MEDALS
Today's program included the Gaudete in Domino! Concert with beautiful religious and classical music at the SBC Abbey Church of Our Lady of Montserrat. The Benedictine monks sang the Gregorian Chant while the UST Liturgikon Ensemble and the UST Brass Ensemble rendered excepts from Handel's Messiah, Beethoven's Ode to Joy, and other classical selections.

HOMECOMING: SBC HS 1959
GOLDEN JUBILEE
Thanksgiving Mass was held at the Abbey Church and the Golden Jubilarian Medals awarded followed by a sumptuous buffet dinner and program at the SBC grounds.

FEBRUARY 1
DESPEDIDA DINNER HOSTED BY RUDY ROBLES
Finally the reunion has come to an end and a fitting reception was held at Rudy's beautiful house in Forbes Park. Each attendee spoke a few words and everyone vowed to make this not the last but the beginning of more gatherings of renewed friendships.
